The Depth of the Liturgy

The liturgy of the Church of Celestial Christianity is not merely a succession of rituals, but a precise spiritual architecture designed to uplift the soul. At the heart of this architecture lies the symbol of light.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
Jean 1:5
When we light the seven candles on the altar, we are not merely illuminating a physical sanctuary. We are activating a presence. Each flame represents one of the seven spirits of God sent throughout the earth.
For the student of the Oshoffa School, understanding this mystery is the first step toward an effective ministry. Light is the first language of Creation, and it is through light that communication between the celebrant and the heavenly realm is established.
